Western Baptist Hospital is pleased to offer Understanding Heart Failure, a series of classes for patients and/or their caregivers that teaches lifestyle changes to help keep heart failure under control.
You may attend one or all of the four weekly classes. There is no charge, but advance registration is required.
- A physician will discuss heart failure, its causes and available treatments.
- A pharmacist will explain what medications are needed and why.
- A dietitian will provide information about your diet—not just what you cannot eat, but what you can eat.
- A nurse also will be on hand to answer any questions.
