Pulling the Trigger on Asthma

asthmaAsthma-proofing your home may seem like a lot of effort. However, it can pay off in fewer attacks—especially for kids with asthma. Some of the steps to try:

  • Wash sheets weekly in hot water, and use allergy-control mattresses and pillow covers.
  • Don’t allow smoking in your home.
  • Dust surfaces and vacuum floors and fabric-covered furniture weekly.
  • Use exhaust fans in the kitchen and bathrooms.
