On an upcoming Western Baptist “HealthBreak,” David Schell, M.D., with The Pediatric Group of Paducah, will discuss how to keep your children safe while they enjoy popular summer activities.

“It’s always important to be safety conscious when dealing with young children,” said Schell, “but especially during the summer season when children are outdoors and at greater risk for accidents and injuries.”

Catch “HealthBreak” Tuesday, May 30, on NewsChannel 6 at 6 p.m. and Wednesday, May 31, on NewsChannel 6 Today to learn about water safety, heat and sun safety and preventing outdoor accidents and injuries.

“HealthBreak,” a 90-second medical segment produced by MBC and Associates of Nashville, features new technologies and procedures, health information and community programs and events at Western Baptist. Members of the hospital’s medical staff are featured on the program.
