Construction is under way on the new 79,000-square-foot Baptist Heart Center with the completion date set for summer 2007. All invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures, as well as the hospital’s Cardiac Rehabilitation Department, will be housed in the new center. The second level of the center will feature an auditorium for physician seminars and special events. A new helicopter pad will be located on the rooftop.
