Western Baptist Hospital is harnessing the power of the Internet to introduce a painless new procedure that every patient encounters—registration. With just the click of a mouse, visitors to Western Baptist Hospital’s home page can quickly and conveniently complete their registration information. This allows patients at Western Baptist to bypass much of the registration process once they arrive at the hospital. To begin the online registration process, simply log on to Western Baptist Hospital’s website at www.westernbaptist.com. Click on the “Online Registration” icon from the center menu items. A series of questions will follow, allowing the user to select or key in their specific responses. After all questions have been completed, users will then be preregistered. Upon entering the hospital, members of Western Baptist Hospital’s registration staff will need only a patient’s insurance cards and signature to finalize the process.
Tina Crews, Director of Patient Access at Western Baptist Hospital, says the new online registration process is yet another way Western Baptist is working to provide convenience and care to its patients.
“The benefits of this new feature are tremendous,” says Crews. “As more and more of us use computers in our daily life, the convenience that the online registration process offers is invaluable. In addition to decreasing hospital wait times, registering online allows patients to register when it is most convenient for them—in the privacy of their own home or office.”
Online registrations must be submitted at least 48 hours prior to a patient’s procedure. To learn more about the online registration process at Western Baptist Hospital, call 270-575-2979 or visit us online at www.westernbaptist.com.
