Each year, 70 million people are affected by digestive disorders. Thankfully, help is available at the new Center for Digestive Health at Western Baptist Hospital. The center features six procedure rooms, with one dedicated to fluoroscopy. A full range of services and procedures are offered at the new facility, including endoscopies, colonoscopies, bronchoscopies, pH monitoring, ERCPs (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography), EMS (Esophageal Motility Study), and M2A® Capsule Endoscope (a small pill that is swallowed and used for imaging the small intestine). The Center for Digestive Health is located on the second floor of Western Baptist Hospital’s new Doctors Office Building 3, a six-floor, 148,000 square-foot physician office building. For more information on digestive disorders or to learn more about the Center for Digestive Health, call Baptist Health Line at 270-575-2918 or visit us on the Web at www.westernbaptist.com.
