Our annual Childbirth Fair is set for Sunday, Sept. 10, from 1 to 3 p.m., in the Atrium of Western Baptist's Doctors Office Building 2. Enjoy free tours, giveaways and refreshments while learning more about maternal-child services at Western Baptist, including StorkCentral, our revamped maternity program.

Make plans to attend Western Baptist's Gospel Gala, Saturday, Oct. 21, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Heartland Worship Center. Admission is free, but a love offering will be taken with all the proceeds benefiting the new Baptist Heart Center. Patients aren't the only ones who need help recovering from heart failure. Care givers also can be overwhelmed by their new roles. To help them adjust, Western Baptist provides a free, four-session seminar, "Understanding Heart Failure." Speakers include a physician, nurse, dietitian and pharmacist.
