Join us for the next 55Plus Brunch Bunch at 10 a.m., Tuesday, April 11, at Immanuel Baptist Church in Paducah. The 55Plus program at Western Baptist is sponsoring AARP driver safety courses on May 1 and 2. The two-day course meets from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Meeting Room B, in the atrium of Western Baptist Hospital's Doctors Office Building 2. Join the WBH/Heart Group Heart Walk Team on Saturday, May 6, at 8:30 a.m., at Noble Park in Paducah. Help us as we raise money and awareness of the nation's leading killer of men and women.

Patients aren't the only ones who need help recovering from heart failure. Care givers also can be overwhelmed by their new roles. To help them adjust, Western Baptist provides a free, four-session seminar, "Understanding Heart Failure," on Tuesdays, beginning at 10 a.m., May 2. Speakers include a physician, nurse, dietitian and pharmacist. Classes will meet in Meeting Rooms A and B in Doctors Office Building 2.
