Join us at the next 55Plus Brunch Bunch, set for Tuesday, October 11th, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Immanuel Baptist Church in Paducah. Karen Thompson, Technical Expert with The Social Security Office,will discuss the Medicare prescription drug program and subsidy. Free blood pressure checks will be given on Monday, October 17th, from 9 a.m. until noon, in the Atrium of Western Baptist Hospital's Doctors Office Building 2. Stop by for a free check, as well as some helpful information on controlling your blood pressure.

Patients aren't the only ones who need help recovering from heart failure. Caregivers can also easily be overwhelmed by their new roles. There's so much information, so many new questions and expectations. That's why Western Baptist Hospital is providing a free, four-session seminar addressing these issues. "Understanding Heart Failure" will cover topics presented by a physician, nurse, dietitian and pharmacist. Classes will meet in Meeting Room A and B in Doctors Office Building 2 at 10 AM.
