On an upcoming HealthBreak, neurosurgeon Allan C. Gocio, M.D., will discuss how the minimally invasive X-Stop can relieve back, hip and leg pain.

"The relief of the hip and leg pain can be dramatic," said Dr. Gocio.

X-Stop is an alternative to epidural injections or traditional spine surgery for lumbar stenosis, a condition that worsens with age and causes people to bend forward to relieve the pain.

Dr. Gocio said the procedure can relieve symptoms without “…a major operation that cause(s) significant disruption of the spinal anatomy.”
