Western Baptist Hospital offers weekly worship services for patients, visitors and staff Sundays from 8:30 to 9:15 a.m. in the Baptist Heart Center Auditorium.

The non-denominational services includes scripture reading, prayer, praise and music. Chaplain James Wright, director of Pastoral Care at Western Baptist, joins other hospital chaplains in leading the services.

“We’re happy to offer the worship services to patients, visitors and employees who may not otherwise be able to attend church on Sunday mornings,” said Wright. “Patients and their family members have expressed the desire to attend a worship service at the hospital while displaced from their regular Sunday routines. Offering the service at a time when some of our employees are finishing their shifts is convenient for them, as well.”
