Childbirth Fair important stop on new parents' journey
Meagan Cheshire of Benton was among the sea of expecting parents filling the atrium of Doctors Office Building 2 at the recent Childbirth Fair.
“I received so much helpful information,” said Cheshire, who found out that day she was expecting.
Event coordinator Lora Croley said this year’s crowd was the largest ever, with more than 1,000 attending.
“It seems to grow larger each year,” said Croley. “We’re proud to provide so many new families with information and resources they need for a healthy pregnancy and the parenting journey that lies ahead.”
This year’s Childbirth Fair featured the debut of Baptist’s newly-revamped StorkCentral maternity program. Staff from Maternal-Child services and Baptist Health Line gave tours of the Birthing Center and OB suites and provided information about having a baby at Western Baptist Hospital.
