Western Baptist Hospital’s Auxiliary donated $65,000 to furnish the hospital’s new Baptist Heart Center.

The donation was presented at the group’s annual Christmas banquet in early December.

Auxiliary coordinator Greg Holtgrewe said an additional $10,000 was given to the hospital’s Foundation Fund, and new equipment was recently purchased for the newly-remodeled Pediatric holding area.
 
“The Auxiliary has worked very hard and remained diligent in their efforts to support the new Baptist Heart Center and the hospital’s Foundation Fund,” said Holtgrewe. “We’re very pleased to play a role in advancing the healthcare services provided by Western Baptist Hospital.”

More than 150 men and women staff Baptist’s Auxiliary, volunteering more than 30,000 hours annually.
