The Imaging Center at Western Baptist Hospital
Our goal at the new Baptist Imaging Center is to meet the needs and preferences of both the physician and the patient. Every aspect is designed to make the process quicker and easier, providing a new level of outpatient service and convenience. Our physicians and staff are dedicated to providing fast, easy and convenient service all in a warm and comfortable environment.
High-Field Open MRI: This completely open design from the Panorama 1.0T allows physicians high field image quality for advanced applications and patients the choice of using an open technology.
CT Scanner: With higher speeds and more rotations, the multi-slice scanner can image parts of the body with greater precision and resolution as well as offering shorter scan times for the patient.
Ultrasound: Two rooms are available for ultrasounds of the abdomen, pelvis, thyroid, gallbladder, etc.
X-Ray: Procedures include all general radiology services (x-rays and fluroscopy), including intravenous pyelography (IVP), used to examine the urinary system; upper G.I. series, used to examine the esophagus, stomach and small intestine; barium enema, used to examine the colon.
Digitial Imaging: Within seconds, radiologists can access images from a computer, read them and make notations on the record for the patient's physician. With the click of a mouse, the image is on its way to the patient's physician.
Onsite Radiologist: Results available immediately for physician review.
Lab: The center offers lab work only in conjunction with a procedure listed above.
All invasive procedures along with nuclear, vascular, and echo studies as well as EKG testing will remain at Western Baptist Hospital.
Walk-ins are welcome. The center offers dedicated parking with a covered canopy. Patients will conveniently register for their procedures within the Baptist Imaging Center.
A Few Guidelines To Follow:
