Free Health Screenings
We know that staying healthy is extremely important to you. Early detection, prevention and staying informed are some of the keys to doing just that. So the 55Plus® program offers a wide variety of health screenings at convenient hours and locations to help keep you involved in your own health. Some of the screenings we offer include blood glucose to detect diabetes; blood cholesterol to determine your risk of heart disease; skin cancer screenings; and blood pressure checks.

Informative Seminars and Workshops: 55Plus® Brunch Bunch Seminars
Another important part of staying healthy is getting involved in your health and your life. So we hold informative seminars and workshops given by doctors and other health professionals on topics such as arthritis, heart disease, cholesterol reduction, nutrition, medication management, osteoporosis and more. We also cover important, non-medical subjects such as financial management and stress reduction. Seminars are held quarterly at 10:00 a.m. in the Baptist Heart Center auditorium.  Free box lunches are served. Watch for upcoming seminar dates in HealthSource.
