Complimentary Rides To and From the Hospital
If you're scheduled for inpatient admission to the hospital, the last thing we want you to worry about is getting here and getting back home. So we'll pick you up and take you home. Just call us at (270) 575-2851 as soon as your admission date is confirmed or with as much advance notice as possible in case of a doctor's office appointment. Say you're a 55 Plus® member, and we'll schedule your transportation. For your ride home, call us at least one day before your discharge. (Transportation is available for ambulatory patients only.)
Faster, Easier Admission
With 55Plus® Advance Registration, you'll sail through admitting. If you're scheduled for an inpatient admission to Western Baptist Hospital, we'll call you ahead of time to get the required information. When you arrive, show us your membership card and tell us you've been through advance registration. All you'll have to do is sign a few forms.
LIFELINE: Free Installation for First-Time Subscribers
LIFELINE personal emergency response system can give you peace of mind, 24 hours a day. With the touch of your finger, you can electronically alert Western Baptist Hospital if you need assistance. For 55 Plus® members, installation is free for any first-time subscribers. For details, call (270)575-2779.
Health Resource Center
Western Baptist Hospital's Health Resource Center has a special section where 55Plus® members may borrow books or use our health information computer program. Just show your membership card.
Help with Insurance Filing
Fussing with insurance forms is one of the last things you should be doing during your recovery. To help you rest easier, we'll file claims related to your bill. Bring in your insurance information when you're admitted. We'll get the paperwork in order and in the proper hands --- on time.
Making It Easy to Pay
Medicare and other health plans cover many of your hospital bills. But there may be some you have to pay for. That's when 55Plus® can really help. Interest-free payment plans are available for the balance after your insurance coverage. Payment arrangements can be made by calling the telephone numbers listed below:
