Western Baptist offers a broad range of occupational health services, both through the hospital and through our affiliation with BaptistWorx™.

Hospital Services

Occupational health and wellness services available directly through the hospital include:
  • Pulmonary Screening
    Western Baptist Hospital offers the business community cost-effective pulmonary screening services, including pre-employment, annual physicals and pulmonary fit testing. All tests are interpreted by a board certified pulmonologist and results are provided to the employer as well as maintained in the Respiratory Care department of the hospital. Pulmonary screenings can be scheduled through the hospital by calling (270) 575-2172 or through BaptistWorx™ at (270) 442-1818. On-site testing is available for employee groups of 12 or more at competitive rates.

  • Educational Programs
    Western Baptist Hospital can provide health and safety education, wellness and fitness consultations, and on-site programming, including:
  • Industrial Rehabilitation for Work-Related Injuries
    Baptist Rehab Center, located 115 Kiana Court in Paducah, offers industrial rehabilitation services. The center specializes in the treatment of back, neck and joint trauma in the arms and legs. Staffing includes an Advanced Clinical Specialist in orthopaedics and a McKenzie Back Specialist. The center is open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays. For more information or to schedule an appointment, call (270) 534-1200.

BaptistWorx™
Affiliated with Western Baptist Hospital

Western Baptist Hospital is affiliated with BaptistWorx™, a full-service occupational health and wellness program. Care for work-related injuries is provided through our Prime Care Center, located in Paducah. Treatment of work-related injuries is also available in the hospital's Emergency Department.

In addition to work injury treatment, BaptistWorx also provides:
  • medical case management;
  • medical surveillance programs, including drug testing;
  • physical evaluations; and
  • immunizations.
