Through this relationship, Purchase Health Partners (PHP) was formed to contract with area business and industry, as well as managed care organizations Who have covered members in this community.

Since its development, Purchase Health Partners has become the preferred provider network for many leading area employers, as well as for some of the nation's leading managed care organizations and associated insurers. Some of those networks include HealthLink, Preferred Health Plan, Private Healthcare Systems, First Health/CCN and Bluegrass Family Health. PHP also assists in the administration of several managed care contracts that Western Baptist Hospital and Purchase Physicians' Organization hold separately, through communication and technical support.
