In an effort to prevent the nursing shortage that is being felt in other parts of the country, Western Baptist Hospital and Lourdes Hospital have partnered with West Kentucky Community and Technical College (WKCTC) for nursing education. Each hospital has promised to contribute $75,000 a year over the next three years to Paducah Junior College, Inc., the foundation that supports WKCTC.
