Western Baptist foundation hosts fashion show luncheon



Ladies can learn how to look good and feel good during a fashion show luncheon presented by the Western Baptist Hospital Foundation on Thursday, March 4, in the Baptist Heart Center auditorium.

Open Your Heart & Kick Up Your Heels begins at 11 a.m. with shopping at local vendors’ booths and live entertainment, followed by lunch and a spring fashion show by Talbots at noon.

Neurologist Jacqueline Carter, M.D., will present a program on stroke education at 12:30 p.m. Lunch will be catered by Laura Duff’s Pampered Palate.

Vendors selling merchandise include Sullivan Interiors, Sassafras, Usborne Books, The Sisters Shoppe, Homemade Gourmet, the Silver Chics, Georgia & Co. and InBloom.

All proceeds benefit the hospital’s stroke education program. Tickets are $30 each, although table sponsorships are available for tables of eight or four. Seating is limited. Phone Gina Leeper at (270) 575-2871 for reservations or more information. Parking is available at 24th and Kentucky Avenue.
