Western Baptist Foundation to host annual golf tourney

Registration is due Sept. 1 for Western Baptist Hospital Foundation’s fourth annual golf tournament.

Morning and afternoon rounds are available for the Sept. 19 scramble at the Country Club of Paducah.

The scramble is limited to 40 teams of four players. Tee times are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. For registration, phone (270) 575-2871.

Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place teams, as well as contest hole winners, in the morning and afternoon rounds. Each player also will receive a gift and lunch.

The event raised more than $76,000 last year, with more than 180 golfers participating. In three years, the tournament has raised nearly $220,000 to benefit Western Baptist Hospital and help meet the healthcare needs of the area.
