Western Baptist Foundation to host annual golf tournament

Registration is due Sept. 1 for Western Baptist Hospital Foundation’s third annual golf tournament.

Morning and afternoon rounds are available for the Sept. 27 scramble at the Country Club of Paducah.

The deadline for registration forms and payments is Sept. 1.

The scramble is limited to 40 teams of four players. Tee times are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. For registration, phone (270) 575-2871.

Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place teams, as well as contest hole winners, in the morning and afternoon rounds. Each player also will receive a gift and lunch.

The event raised almost $75,000 last year, with more than 175 golfers participating. Donations from last year’s tournament, along with more than $6.5 million in contributions over the last seven years, have been used to purchase medical equipment, enhance hospital facilities and expand patient services.
