Robyn Blankenship is named director of compliance and privacy

Robyn Blankenship has been named director of hospital compliance and privacy for Western  Baptist Hospital.

Blankenship, a graduate of The Ohio State University, is responsible for the hospital’s compliance with government regulations and protecting the privacy of patients.

She is a certified professional coder, compliance specialist, medical coding specialist and medical insurance specialist.

Blankenship has worked in various facets of healthcare, including clinical, revenue cycle, coding and compliance.  She developed and administered the compliance program for Kenwood Hospitalists in Cincinnati, served as coding manager for The Ohio State University Medical Center Internal Medicine physicians and facilitated the U.S. organizational integrity program.
