Register now for Health Career Camp at Western Baptist

Western Baptist Hospital, in conjunction with the Purchase Area Health Education Center, is sponsoring a free Hands-On Health Career Camp for high school freshmen.

The camp will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 12-16 at Western Baptist. The deadline to register is Thursday, July 1. The camp is open to incoming freshman in Paducah and McCracken County schools interested in a career in the healthcare industry. The students will tour the hospital’s clinical lab and hear presentations from several departments, including nursing, pathology, rehabilitation services, radiology, social work and dietary.
