Neonatologist Edward O’Neill joins Western Baptist staff

Neonatologist Edward O’Neill, M.D., has recently joined the medical staff at Western Baptist Hospital. He joins a medical staff of approximately 240 physicians representing 40 medical specialties.

Dr. O’Neill, an assistant professor in pediatrics at the University of Louisville, is the neonatologist from Neonatal Associates in Louisville serving full-time in Western Baptist’s new Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. He is a graduate of the University of South Florida School of Medicine, where he completed a residency in pediatrics. He completed a fellowship in neonatal-perinatal medicine at the University of Louisville School of Medicine.

Dr. O’Neill is on the team of specialists at Western Baptist, offering western Kentucky’s first maternal fetal medicine and neonatal intensive care for moms and babies who need specialized care close to home.
