Maternal-fetal medicine specialist Thomas Tabb joins staff

Maternal-fetal medicine specialist Thomas Tabb, M.D., has recently joined the medical staff at Western Baptist Hospital. He joins a medical staff of approximately 240 physicians, representing 40 medical specialties.

Dr. Tabb is medical director of maternal-fetal medicine for Norton Healthcare/Kosair Children’s Hospital. He is a graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Medicine and completed his residency and fellowship at the University of Tennessee at Memphis. Dr. Tabb also completed a postdoctoral fellowship at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.

He provides high-risk obstetric care for women experiencing multiple gestation, premature labor, maternal hypertension, diabetes or other pregnancy-related conditions.          He joins a team of specialists at Western Baptist, offering western Kentucky’s first maternal-fetal medicine and neonatal intensive care for moms and babies who need specialized care close to home.
