Maternal-fetal medicine specialist Kristine Lain joins hospital staff

Maternal-fetal medicine specialist Kristine Yoder Lain, M.D., has recently joined the medical staff at Western Baptist Hospital. She joins a medical staff of approximately 240 physicians, representing 40 medical specialties.

Dr. Lain is a graduate of the Pritzker School of Medicine at the University of Chicago. She completed her obstetrics-gynecology residency and maternal-fetal medicine fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh.

She provides high-risk obstetric care for women experiencing multiple gestation, premature labor, maternal hypertension, diabetes or other pregnancy-related conditions. Dr. Lain joins a team of specialists at Western Baptist, offering western Kentucky’s first maternal-fetal medicine and neonatal intensive care for moms and babies who need specialized care close to home.
