Kohl's donates to Western Baptist Child Development Center

Children at Western Baptist Hospital’s Child Development Center enjoy the playground after a recent beautification project. Kohl’s Department Store in Paducah donated $1,000 to the Western Baptist Hospital Foundation as part of the project. Kohl’s associates also painted playground games, including two shuffle board areas, and planted flowers at the main entrance. Kohl’s is donating 100 percent of the net profit of its $5 books and exclusive plush toys to children’s health and educational opportunities through the foundation. Kohl’s associates who worked on the project are Chris Logsdon, (left), Mark Hobbs, Dottie Copeland, Rebecca Burns and manager Rodney Hall. Playing on the playground equipment are preschoolers Jayden Patrick, (left), Ali Rose Joyner, Ethan Fletcher and Braden Casebier.
