Head and neck cancer screening set for May 1



To save lives through early detection, Western Baptist is teaming with area physicians to offer a free head and neck cancer screening from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, May 1. To schedule an appointment, phone Baptist Health Line at (270) 575-2918.

 

Risk Factors:

  • Smoking
  • Chewing tobacco
  • Drinking alcohol
  • Prior cancer of the head or neck

 

Symptoms:

  • Mouth sore that does not go away
  • Sore throat or trouble swallowing
  • Change in voice
  • Growth or swelling in the neck
