Golf tournament raises more than $80,000 for foundation

Western Baptist Hospital Foundation’s annual golf tournament Monday raised more than $80,000 in contributions and in-kind donations to help expand and enhance patient care services in areas including cardiology, neurology and neonatal care.
“We were extremely pleased with this year’s event,” said Laurie Latham, director of Western Baptist’s business and fund development. “We truly appreciate the support from all of our golf teams, sponsors, volunteers and donors. Funds raised will benefit the hospital’s patient care services, including the new Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.”
The fourth annual tournament hosted 50 teams at the Country Club of Paducah.
