Free program on dementia care Oct. 22



Families and friends of people with memory disorders are invited to a free educational program at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, at Western Baptist Hospital.

The program will cover two topics, “Caring for the caregiver” and “Helpful tips to prepare for the holiday season.” It will be shown via the Kentucky TeleHealth Network in Western Baptist’s Meeting Room B on the first floor of Doctors Office Building 2. 

The videoconference is presented by the University of Kentucky’s Sanders-Brown Center on Aging and Alzheimer's Disease Center, as well as the Greater Kentucky and Southern Indiana Alzheimer's Association and the Kentucky TeleHealth Network. Registration is required. To register, phone the Alzheimer's Association at (800) 272-3900.
