Foundation selling poinsettias in honor or memory of loved ones

The Baptist Health Foundation Paducah is offering the opportunity to sponsor a poinsettia or “Christmas Star” in honor or memory of a loved one.

The suggested donation is $20 for a 6-inch poinsettia or $40 for a 12-inch. The poinsettias are displayed on a poinsettia tree in Larry Barton Atrium.

The foundation places an acknowledgement on the tree and sends a card to announce the gift.

After the display period, poinsettias are provided to hospital patients just prior to Christmas.

In addition, donors can purchase engraved bricks for the hospital’s two tribute gardens at $100 or $200, depending on size.

Proceeds benefit the foundation, which purchases leading-edge medical technology, enhances hospital facilities and expands patient care services.

Poinsettias or bricks can be purchased by phoning the foundation at 270.575.2871 or e-mailing foundationpaducah@bhsi.com.
