Foundation luncheon raises more than $12,000 for heart care

Baptist Health Foundation Paducah recently presented $12,173 to the Mother and Baby Care department at Baptist Health Paducah for defibrillators.

Funds were raised at a luncheon, which included a home fashion show by Ethan Allen designer Kenn Gray. Sponsors were Genentech, Enterprise Foundation, the Baptist Health Auxiliary, Credit Bureau Systems, Ethan Allen, Holland Stivers, US Bank, West Kentucky Community & Technical College, Michelson Jewelers, Paducah Bank, The Medicines Company and WPSD Local 6.

“The funds raised will be used to purchase additional defibrillators for our labor and delivery patients,” foundation director Laurie Latham said. “We sincerely appreciate all of our supporters for ‘Opening Up their Hearts and Kicking Up their Heels’ and helping to make this purchase for our patients possible.”
