            Cardiothoracic surgeon Nicholas M. Lopez, M.D., has recently joined the medical staff at Western Baptist Hospital.

            Dr. Lopez is a graduate of the University of Michigan School of Medicine. He completed his general surgery residency at the University of Kentucky and cardiothoracic surgery residency at the Medical Center of South Carolina.

 He joined the practice of Robin Howe, M.D., Carl Johnson, M.D. and Keung Ung, M.D., at Western Kentucky Heart and Chest Surgery Associates.
