BaptistWorx celebrates ribbon cutting ceremony

BaptistWorx Occupational Medicine clinic hosted a ribbon cutting on Sept. 30.

The fully-integrated occupational health and wellness clinic offers several services to business and industry, including:

  • Pre-employment, respirator; return-to-work and post-accident physical exams
  • Injury treatment of Workers Compensation and Jones Act claims
  • DOT and non-DOT drug screenings
  • 24-hour occupational health nurse hotline
  • Employee health and wellness program and health screenings
  • Training programs, including First Aid and CPR

“BaptistWorx is committed to developing medical programs to fit each company’s particular needs,” said Bradley Hutchins, physician assistant. “We are the one-stop shop for occupational medicine services in western Kentucky and now offer radiology and physical therapy services within the confines of our facility. We invite area employers to contact us to discuss the ways BaptistWorx can assist in helping develop a healthy, safe workforce.”

The expense of treating work-related injuries places a significant financial burden on companies of every size, said BaptistWorx coordinator Marra McMillan. Many Paducah-area employers are turning to BaptistWorx to minimize the expense of treating workplace injuries, decrease employee time lost from work and reduce medical claims.

The clinic is located in Doctors Office Building 3, Suite 102, Western Baptist Hospital, 2605 Kentucky Ave., Paducah. Hours are 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Phone (270) 415- 4600 for an appointment or more information.
