Baptist Imaging Center open house set for June 4



The public is invited to meet our staff and see our expanded services at the Baptist Imaging Center's open house from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, June 4. The open house includes tours, refreshments and prizes.

The Baptist Imaging Center is located next to Western Baptist Hospital at 2705 Kentucky Ave, with the entrance near 28th and Kentucky Avenue. Visitors can park in a designated lot, conveniently close to the door.

The $9.2 million expansion makes the freestanding center a one-stop shop for outpatient imaging services, including mammography, bone density, MRI, PET, CT, ultrasound and nuclear medicine. Patients can expect same-day results from radiologists on-site.

Western Baptist has been designated a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology, a distinction awarded to just the top 3 percent in the nation. Breast imaging services are fully accredited in mammography, stereotactic breast biopsy, breast ultrasound and ultrasound-guided breast biopsy.
