Baptist Health Paducah to offer free hip or knee screening

Baptist Health Paducah will offer a free orthopedic hip or knee screening on Saturday, April 21, at Baptist Rehab Center, 115 Kiana Court. Appointments are required; phone (270) 575-2895 for reservations.

Participants will see a physical therapist and receive exercise tips to improve range of motion, or be given a referral for more specialized treatment. An orthopedic surgeon will offer a consultation, if needed.

“The hip or knee screening is a wonderful opportunity for people to get their hip or knee pain evaluated without the anxieties associated with an office appointment,” said orthopedic surgeon Ted Jefferson, D.O. “It is a good way to get help for a recurring pain.”

Registration is limited to people with hip or knee pain not related to an injury currently being treated.
