Baptist Health Paducah flags fly half staff in memory of John Loftis

The flags at Baptist Health Paducah were at half staff March 5 in memory of Air Force Lt. Col. John Loftis. Loftis, who was killed in Afghanistan on Feb. 25, is the son of Baptist Health Line nurse Chris Janne.

Loftis’ funeral was March 5 at Hurlburt Field, Fla., at his stateside duty station near the home of his wife and two daughters.

Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear asked all government buildings to honor the half staff tradition, and Baptist Health Paducahis honored to join in the tribute for this native son.
