Baptist Health Paducah Foundation selling poinsettias, bricks
The Baptist Health Paducah Foundation is offering the opportunity to sponsor a poinsettia or “Christmas Star” in honor or memory of a loved one.
The suggested donation is $20 for a 6-inch poinsettia or $40 for a 12-inch. The poinsettias are displayed on a poinsettia tree in the atrium of Doctors Office Building 2. An acknowledgement card is displayed in the poinsettia, and one is sent to announce the gift.
A Christmas reception will take place at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 21, in the atrium. The hospital employee choir will sing carols, and light refreshments will be served. Those honored on the poinsettia tree will be recognized, following a prayer. Donors can take their poinsettias then, or they will be given to hospital patients.
In addition, donors can purchase engraved bricks for the hospital’s two tribute gardens. The cost is $100 or $200, depending on size.
Proceeds benefit the foundation, which purchases leading-edge medical technology, enhances hospital facilities and expands patient care services.
Poinsettias or bricks can be purchased by phoning the Baptist Health Paducah Foundation at (270) 575-2871 or at westernbaptist.com.
