American Heart Association CPR Center
Baptist Health Paducah is designated as a regional CPR training center for the American Heart Association. CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) that is performed properly and promptly can give a heart attack victim time to receive treatment by advanced medical techniques.
CPR for Healthcare Professionals is available, including Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), as well as instructors' courses and renewal.
The Pediatric Family and Friends Course is offered to the public and teaches techniques for infants and children from birth through 8 years of age.
The Pediatric Family and Friends Course is held at Baptist Health Paducah. Cost is $10 or free if having your baby at Baptist Health Paducah. Classes are from 5 pm until 8 pm.
